Interested in writing but not up for a full-length novel or memoir? With this series of eight, 2-hour workshops you’ll learn helpful strategies and tips to unleash your inner writer as you develop and refine one or more short fiction or non-fiction pieces. This course will help you get started, complete a draft, manage feedback, revise, and identify accessible publishing platforms, all within a supportive community of writers. The aim is for everyone to have at least one polished piece—real life or fiction-- that you’ll be proud to send into the World.
Each session offers tips for writing, group activities, discussion of short-form fiction and non-fiction works that we’ll read together, writing time with optional prompts, and sharing our work. This course welcomes writers at all levels of experience.
