ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Charlie Smith is a performer, comedian, and creative producer with training in improv, storytelling, stand-up comedy, and sketch writing from Upright Citizens Brigade in both Los Angeles and New York City. They also studied theatre and improvisation through Middlesex Community College and hosted improv troupes in Los Angeles from 2011–2012. Charlie brings an energetic, supportive, and beginner-friendly approach to teaching improv, with a focus on creativity, collaboration, confidence-building, and learning to fully commit to the moment. Their classes encourage students to take risks, support one another, and discover the joy of saying “yes, and.”
